Yes, I mean it (at least for my Brand X class anyway).
We had to present our CD Package in front of the whole class and some panels including my teacher for next quarter, our Graphic Design director, and Edward Colver. I was very nervous, but at the end, the panel was really great at giving criticisms. They pointed out some things that I haven’t even considered or things that I overlooked. Overall, I was very satisfied with the result.
I’m really sad that this class ended. I had so much fun doing the package and just seeing everyone’s package evolved to what they were today. Man, I tell you, the packages I saw today were soooo amazing. Especially this girl from Vietnam. She redid Big Bang’s CD package. xD At first, she was really struggling, but at the very end she pulled through. Her spreads were tied together and they were just visually pleasing. I thought it was very Big Bang-ish.
I just loved that class! The energy. The teacher. The creative talents in the room. Sometimes, I got really intimidated, but it was good for me because it made me push my limits more. I’m really content with that class. I feel that I got my money’s worth and my time’s worth.
